SIDC International Dental and Orthodontics Center is a facility specializing in Dental Services. The Facility was founded in 2010, and adds its service to Home Care Department which started and approved by Health Authority Abu Dhabi in 2014. In January 15, 2015, DAMAN, one of the leading insurance facility in Abu Dhabi, approved and recognized the facility as one provider of excellent and quality health care services. Currently, we continue to deliver highest possible level of clinical outcome and patient’s satisfaction.
Home care department renders Home Health services which help adults, seniors, and pediatric clients who are recovering after a hospital or facility stay, or need additional support to remain safely at home and avoid unnecessary hospitalization. These services may include short-term and long-term nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, and assistive home health care.

1. Physician Services
- Provides effective and high-quality medical care to home health care patients.
- Perform a complete and appropriate history and physical assessment of patients.
- Select medical and appropriate laboratory investigations needed by the patient When necessary
- Prescribe medications appropriate to patient’s condition when needed.
- Apply general principles of rehabilitation applicable to patients with medical condition., Examples: wound care, blood sugar monitoring, PEG tube. care Etc.)
- Conduct regular home visits and consultations to homecare patient.
- Manage medical problems and monitor patient condition at their home with multidisciplinary team.
- Provide health teaching to patient and family.
2. Nursing Services
• Direct health care, mental and physical care, and moral support for the patient.
• Check and monitor the patient’s vital signs (Blood pressure, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation).
• Check and monitor the level of blood sugar for the diabetic patient and give the insulin doses accordingly.
• Medication administration, remind and give to the patient on time.
• Fractures, wounds, ulcers and pain management.
• Assess, monitor and observe patient’s status and decide if needs to be transfer in hospital base on patient condition.
• Monitor and clean medical devices such as feeding tubes, respirators, cardiac pacemaker, and catheters.
• Helping the patient in activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, walking, etc.
3. Physiotherapy Services
• Seniors with mobility restrictions or limitations.
• People with neurological injuries such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury.
• Pediatric cases with birth defects of spinal cord or brain, delayed motor development, congenital anomalies and genetic abnormalities.
• People discharged from the hospital with limited mobility.
• Those who have too much pain to attend an outpatient clinic for physiotherapy services.
• Work related injuries, sports injuries and motor vehicular accidents.
